Returns and Exchanges
Your complete satisfaction is our top priority at CoversDirect® and we want you to have a quality product that suits your needs. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy and procedures below. The following guidelines apply to all returns and/or exchanges:
- Please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your product for return information.
- Any returned item must be in first quality condition and in its original packaging. Please take extra care when trying your product on for the first time. Used, soiled or damaged items are non-returnable.
- All packages must be shipped prepaid with a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) prominently displayed on the packaging. You may obtain a RGA number on qualified returns by calling us (1-866-818-9901). You may also fill out an email request for assistance.
- CoversDirect® cannot accept any packages freight collect or COD.
- Returns must be inspected before final decisions are made on credits.
- All credit card purchases that qualify for a refund will be credited to the same credit card account that was charged in the original purchase.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
Non-Returnable Items Include:
- Custom Fit Car Covers are specifically made for the year, make and model car chosen when placing your order. The cover will not allow for any special modifications or additions (such as sport wings, body kits, hood scoops, truck visors, bug deflector, spare tires, side mounts, etc.) unless otherwise specified within the car listing.
- High-performance materials such as Weathershield HP, Weathershield HD and Form Fit are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturer defect.
- Special Order/Modified Covers are typically made to better accommodate your vehicle and it’s added features. These items are not stocked, but rather ordered based on provided dimensions and images, therefore non-returnable for a refund/exchange unless there is a manufacturer error or defect any covers made with added logos, reflective welting, or embroidery are considered non-returnable.
Should CoversDirect® decide to accept the return of any item, or an item not in first quality condition, restocking fees of up to 25% will apply. Returns must be inspected before final decisions are made on credits. If the returned item is received outside of the standard policy, store credit may be offered.
Return and Exchange Procedure:
If you wish to proceed with the return/exchange of an unsatisfactory product, please call us at 1-866-818-9901 to inform us of the problem within 30 days of receiving the product. You may also fill out an email request for assistance if you prefer email correspondence. In an effort to simplify the return/exchange process, it is requested that you provide as much detail as possible, including full images with and without the product installed. (Images best taken when you can view the entire unit in one picture.)
Non-Custom (Ready-Fit) Returns and Exchanges:
Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may exchange your non-custom product for another, provided that your product is still in first quality condition. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to our facility. Your replacement will be shipped after we receive and inspect your returned product. A Return Goods Authorization Number must be issued for any product being returned and RGA number should be placed on the outside of the box. If an item is received and not in first quality condition, the return will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price or returned to you at the discretion of the returns department.
We ask that you call us within 24 hours after placing an order to make any changes or to cancel your order. Non-stock items will begin production either same or next day, depending on when your order is placed. We will try to accommodate your request in all instances where it is possible. If your product has already started the production process, we will not be able to process your request for cancellation. If your product has already shipped, you will need to call us after you receive the product at 1-866-818-9901 (toll free) to obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number for return or exchange. CoversDirect® reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee up to 25% of the purchase price if we have processed your order.
